Pillerton Priors Parish Plan
Although the Neighbourhood Plan was put on hold the Parish Council continued working towards having an adopted Parish Plan. Although this would not carry the weight of a Neighbourhood Plan it does give decision makers an idea of how residents would like Pillerton Priors to be in the future.
APRIL 2021
The Parish Plan Team are please to announce that the Pillerton Priors Parish Plan and its Action Plan have been adopted as recommended by the Stratford-on-Avon District Council Cabinet (with the exception of PP6-1) at the Cabinet meeting on Monday 12th April 2021. It is available on the SDC website: List of Adopted Parish Plans | Stratford-on-Avon District Council. The Parish Plan (with the exception of PP6-1) is now a material consideration and can be used as a local information source by Council Officers and any developers in the area.
FEBRUARY - AUGUST 2020
After the success of the January event, the project team submitted an updated Parish Plan, Action Plan and Village Design Statement to the Policy Team at Stratford-on-Avon District Council in February 2020.
Feedback was received from them on items that in their opinion required changing along with some additional information that was required. The Plan Team discussed the feedback and where they felt the proposed amendments would not significantly oppose the views received from Pillerton Priors residents, the changes were made. The amended versions of the three documents were resubmitted in July 2020.
JANUARY 2020
The Parish Plan team invite all residents to attend an open event to help to finalise the plan.
The drop-in event is in the village hall on Saturday 11th January 2020 between 10am and 2pm
Please come along and express your views on our guiding principles and help us put together our action plan.
The Parish Plan is largely based on the results of the questionnaire circulated to all residents earlier this year.
They have now reached the stage where all of the background work has been completed and what now remains is to hear your views on the plan. Generally, but importantly, on two key parts sections.
The Parish Council look forward to seeing you there.

At the Parish Council meeting on 10th January 2019 it was reported that the draft Parish Plan Survey report had been received. The results were based on the 96 completed questionnaires. Click this link to view the Parish Plan Survey Report. The Plan Team proposed an action plan to look into the five main issues identified in the survey.
